David Clerest Project

David Clerest was born in a musical family. He Played drums since
childhood and got his first drum kit at age 4. He picked up the guitar at
age 13. After much struggle to keep a 3 piece band together during the
80's, he finally settled for a unique one man band called David Clerest
Project. Dave programs the drum machine and pre-records the bass
guitar to use as back up tracks. On stage he plays both rhythm and lead
guitar and vocals to his back up tracks. Watching DCP is an inspiring and
uplifting experience. His song writing generally deals with anti war
message, environmental issues and other social issues. He recorded his
CD Mission:Earth using solar power (green energy was unheard of at that
time). David is not only an activist in the environmental and human rights
fields, but is also a big advocate for animal rights. He also designed and
